Lyrics to my Life
There’s Darkness in my skin.
My cover’s wearing thin, I believe.
I’d love to start again,
go back to innocent,
and never leave.
Don’t give up now.
A break in the clouds, we could be found.
There’s nothing wrong with me.
It’s just that I believe things could get better.
And there’s nothing wrong with love.
I know it’s just enough to believe.
Don’t give up now.
A break in the clouds, we will be found.
Rescue is coming now
These lyrics are off of David Crowder Band’s new Album, A Collision or (3 + 4 = 7). This is an amazing CD, and it has steadily been in my CD player since Christmas when I got it. But I was listening to this song, driving home from one of my friends last night. I was feeling discouraged. I started to sing this song, and went off into my own song (something that I do frequently). I started singing about how I have to believe no matter what I see, that it’s going to get better. That how it’s gonna be, is better then where it’s been (not these lyrics specifically). But it was good for my heart. So often I think when we live our lives, we only see the circumstances and not what God is doing behind the scenes.
